McKinlay Named Head Coach of Coquitlam Inter. "A" Adanacs

"We are also extremely excited to announce that Steve McKinlay will be Head Coach of our Intermediate "A" team for the upcoming 2012 season. Most know Steve for his tenacious play with the Senior Adanacs and his involvement with Coquitlam Minor Lacrosse running their Development Programs. He hopes to bring his winning attitude to the Intermediate "A" team and will be announcing his Assistant Coaches shortly.
Steve comes with an extremely long list of impressive playing and Coaching credentials. As a player, Steve grew up playing his Minor Lacrosse in Coquitlam and then continuing on to the Intermediate "A" Adanacs, winning the Championships in 2003. From 2004-2006 Steve played for the Junior "A" Adanacs serving as Team Captain for the 2006 campaign. After an illustrious Junior career, Steve was drafted by the Senior "A" Adanacs in the 1st round, 4th overall. Also at this time, Steve received a scholarship at Ohio State University where he played for the famed Buckeyes winning the Conference in 2008. The Washington Stealth of the NLL also rounded out Steve's playing resume playing Professionally from 2008-2010."

Rust Removal Camp Staff: Veltman and Iannucci
Daryl Veltman (1st overall NLL draft pick in 2008) and Athan Iannucci (NLL Record Holder for Goals Scored in a Single Season) will be teamming up with LaxOpp for the PreSeason Rust Removal Camp. LaxOpp is thrilled to have two of the best players in the game teaching young athletes the skills that have made them so successful! (01/28)
Stumpy Eneways Goes Viral!

Matt Brascia, makes a hit spoof video on John "Stumpy" Eneways, former Canadian Athlete of the Year. Matt is the owner and creative director of Sunny Smith Productions. LaxOpp has recently formed a relationship with Sunny Smith Productions as they will be in charge of filming and producing our recruiting films for our student-athletes. Very happy to have Matt on board and the professionalism he brings to his work. (01/15)
Tim Campeau and Steve McKinlay set to take on the Tri-City Elite
Tim and Steve will be joining former teammates, Pete Tellis and Athan Iannucci, as coaches for the first annual X-Treme Challenge Cup versus Claremont High School. The team will be selected from Terry Fox, Centennial, Charles Best, and Heritage High School. The coaching staff is excited about the opportunity to coach in a competitive environment and give the players a memorible and successful experience. (01/11)
